Review the payment requests your payees submit, then approve, reject, or approve and pay them.
A payment request is raised by a payee: they ask you to pay them an amount, with a description and attachments. You review the requests submitted to you, then approve or reject each one. A request the payee has not submitted yet is a draft, and you never see it. Approve and pay creates the payments for you, one payment per payee, in an existing or a new batch.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
PENDING_APPROVAL | Submitted by the payee and waiting for your decision. |
APPROVED | You approved it. Use approve and pay to create its payment. |
NOT_APPROVED | You rejected it, with a reason the payee can read. The payee can correct it and submit it again, which returns it to PENDING_APPROVAL. |
CANCELLED | The payee withdrew it. Final. |
After a request is paid, it also reports the status of its payment.
Every operation here needs the Payment Requests permission. See Access to wallets and payment requests. See Payment Requests.
